Real Flame propane and natural gas fire tables and fire bowls can be used on a wood deck, but NEVER place the fire table or bowl on a rug. Wood burning fire pits cannot be used on a wood deck.

A standard 20 lb propane tank is required for products where the propane tank sits outside the table. Many fire tables offer the option of having a propane tank hidden in the base of the table. Some of these require a 20 lb tank and some require a 11 lb tank. Please see the technical details on the product page for detailed information. These propane tanks can be purchased from most hardware stores.

You should never cook over the flames or use it to heat food or liquids.

Unfortunately, because of CSA regulations we no longer have wind guards for any fire tables nor recommend them. All of our fire tables are certified and tested for up to 30-35 MPH winds.

Our propane units have been certified and tested for use with a 20 lb or 11 lb propane tank. They are not certified or tested to be used with anything else and so we must advise you to only use Real Flame products with the required 20 lb or 11 lb propane tank.

No, the BTUS cannot be increased by changing any components on the unit.

Yes, Real Flame fire tables are hollow underneath and include a hose that can comes out from under the table and connects to your natural gas source. You can put the connection to the natural gas source directly under the table. Please make sure you are able to regularly inspect the components and connections and make sure the hose doesn’t touch the hot burn pan.
